Smart Software Delivery Pipelines
Speakers: Hasan Yasar & Altaz Valani

There is a lot of data being collected through our DevOps pipelines today. Unfortunately, this data is only being utilized in a narrow context or for application-specific usage. For example, code scanner results are only used by aid developers.

Although a software delivery platform’s components seem connected, the data generated from each tool is siloed and not used effectively. While this approach might help to improve individual phases of the DevOps lifecycle, it misses out on an overall strategy of continuous learning and risk management. That’s why we need smart software delivery pipelines to collect this data and automatically generate security insights that can explain why things went wrong and predict whether such a situation will arise again in the future. This helps us to manage both speed and security risk for overall benefit as well as for informed decision-making.

In this webinar, we will introduce the idea behind smart software delivery pipelines. We will then explain how existing DevOps pipelines can be extended to make them smarter. To conclude, we will be tying together security insights from this intelligence for better business risk management.

Expected Learning:
- Understand what is a smart software delivery pipeline.
- Get guidance on how to extend your current pipeline tools to exhibit more intelligence.
- Determine your short, mid, and long-term actions to build a smart software delivery pipeline.
